| Quilt Preparation: |
Backing:
- The backing should be at least 6 inches longer and 6 inches wider than your
quilt top. - If applicable, mark the top of your backing by pinning a small piece of paper
labeled "Top".
Batting:
If you are supplying your own batting, please make sure it is at least 6 inches longer
and 6 inches wider than the quilt top.
If you are supplying your own batting, please make sure it is at least 6 inches longer
and 6 inches wider than the quilt top.
Quilt Top:
- Press the quilt top. If the quilt top is not pressed, your quilt will have puckers
and/or wrinkles. - Trim and secure all loose threads from the back of your quilt top. Loose
threads may show through the lighter colors of your quilt. - Make sure your seam allowances are pressed properly.
- If applicable, mark the top of your quilt by pinning a small piece of paper
labeled "Top". - Do not baste or pin the quilt layers together.
